All newsletters in one e-mail – is that possible?

I’ve found a great tool that can helped me solve my “Oops I think I’ve signed up to too many newsletters” problem. In the past I used to sign up with my separate e-mail that I’ve never used too often. The problem began when I started receiving pretty cool discounts upon sign up and ended up blocking my personal inbox with way too many newsletters. And you think it’s so easy to unsubscribe by just clicking this magic link right? čÖé You will probably land on a series of questionnaires where the companies beg you to stay.

This is how I ended up signing up to yet another e-mail newsletter, but very powerful one – one that allows me to receive a “rollup” of only those newsletters that I want to see in my inbox.

Unroll.me┬áis awesome – just select which newsletters you want to add to a single rollup or simply unsubscribe from them in one window. Yes, just clicking “Unsubscribe” will actually unsubscribe you straight away.

How does it work? Just visit the website and sign up with your e-mail address. One note, it supports those e-mail clients (as for now): Outlook.com (including Hotmail, MSN, & Windows Live), Gmail, Google Apps, Yahoo! Mail, AOL Mail, and iCloud. So if you have your personal e-mail client like e.g. info@socialmediatipz.com (that you can configure with your hosting) it will not work.

It might take few seconds for Unroll to load all your data and a dashboard will appear showing all your e-mail subscriptions:

It’s a simple list of all brands and two options on the right hand side: “Add to rollup” and “Unsubscribe”. Clicking on the first one will add the subscription to your daily digest. Unsubscribe simply deletes the newsletters you don’t want to receive anymore.

The window above subscriptions allows you to see what is currently in your rollup, what currently comes into your inbox

as a loose newsletter, what you’ve unsubscribed from and any new items that were received.

How will you receive the rollup? You can customize it in Settings. Choose which time of the day you want to receive it and in which form. It’s also easy on eyes providing a responsive email template suitable for all devices. If you don’t want to receive the rollup anymore, you can simply deactivate┬áit.

What happens to unsubscribed accounts? I must say I got rid of a lot of junk and I just spent one minute cleaning it up. In fact, the e-mails are still coming to my inbox – but now, they just land directly in my junk, so I don’t see them anymore.

Let me know if you’ve tried it out already and if it’s been helpful![/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”5px”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
